We are pleased to announce that our highlight author event for the spring, will take place by Zoom. Please join us on Thursday, April 23 at 6:45 p.m. for a conversation with journalist, historian, author, and Palisades resident Evan Thomas, who will discuss his most recent book, First: Sandra Day O'Connor. First, is an intimate and inspiring biography of the first female Supreme Court justice that draws on exclusive interviews and first time access to her archives. The book was on the Washington Post and NPR lists of "Best Books of the Year" in 2019. Evan Thomas (whom many will recognize from his regular appearances on Inside Washington and shows like Meet the Press as well as from his previous nine books, including several NYT bestsellers), together with his wife Oscie, who collaborated with him on First, will also answer your questions after their presentation.
