The book for August is A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley.   It is unfortunate that we are still on Zoom as I know many folks really hate it, but for now...........

There are 11 paper copies in the library system but since the Palisades Library is closed we would have to reserve them and pick the book at a different library. Below is the information from Meredith regarding where we might get the book:

Tenley: 202-727-1488 (opening 7/13/20)

West End: 202-724-8707

Note that you can ask for books to be sent to any branch. I would suggest calling West End, as it will not be as busy. Also note that Tenley will open Monday, July 13, although holds can be sent there by calling another library now.
