If you are intrigued by the many beautiful and unique homes in our neighborhood, do not miss the upcoming Palisades Village House Tour.  This year’s tour, the 10^th annual, will showcase seven homes in the Palisades/Kent/Foxhall area, with a variety of architectural styles, remarkable use of space, and unique art and décor.  Many of the homes have undergone extensive renovations, resulting in major transformations to provide wonderful open living areas and fabulous kitchens and family rooms.  A tour of these homes may well give the visitors inspiration for ideas. Our 10th tour is a cause to celebrate and we will have some special treats on the tour. 

The House Tour supports Palisades Village, a non-profit organization that helps our older neighbors live in their own homes as they age and remain actively engaged in their community.

The House Tour is open to those 10 years of age and over. It will be held rain or shine. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather. 

Because the homes are so varied, they are spread over the Kent, Foxhall, and Palisades neighborhoods.  A car or bike is recommended to get between the homes. Efforts have been made to minimize steps and we will indicate how many steps are involved.

The discount for advance tickets ends at midnight on October 18. Tickets on the day of the sale will be available at the Palisades Hub at 5200 Cathedral Ave NW, just off MacArthur Boulevard.

The homes on the tour are kept under wraps until the day of the tour.  On the 19th, you can pick up your tickets and guidebook with the homes and a map.  They will be available at the Hub (5200 Cathedral Ave NW) starting at 10:30 am on the 19th.
