People Animals Love (PAL) is seeking friendly, well-behaved dogs and their human companions to join its animal-assisted support program as certified therapy dog-handler teams. PAL teams bring joy and comfort to individuals across the DC metro area through visits to libraries, schools, hospitals, and more.

Palisades Village is excited to partner with PAL to help interested volunteers get trained and ready to visit our members.

Handlers must be at least 18 years old. Dogs must be at least 18 months old at the time of their Team Evaluation and must have lived with their handler for a minimum of six months.
