We are delighted to welcome Tom Dunne for a special talk for the Palisades community.

Waging Peace: How a former US Navy SEAL turned to cooperative problem-solving and peacebuilding

For more than fifty years, Tom Dunne has helped individuals, organizations, and communities resolve disputes and manage conflicts productively. The arc of his remarkable career has taken him from studying to become a Catholic priest to serving with the US Navy Underwater Demolition Team in Vietnam and later as a reserve Navy SEAL to working for one of the largest peacebuilding NGOs in the world. In this illustrated talk, he'll share the critical moments in his life that moved him along this trajectory.
