Whether you are an architecture enthusiast, a design lover, a history buff, or simply curious about the remarkable homes tucked within our distinctive local neighborhoods, the Palisades Village House Tour offers a rare opportunity to explore them from the inside while supporting a cause that enriches lives throughout the community.
Every ticket purchased helps Palisades Village continue providing programs and services that enable local older adults to remain independent, engaged, and connected as they age. More than a showcase of architecture and design, the House Tour is a powerful example of neighbors helping neighbors and strengthening the fabric of the community.
This year’s homes include: a late 19th-century Italianate; Tudor, Colonial, and Federal Revivals; a 21st-century four-square; and a sleek Modern Contemporary. All are located in the Berkley, Foxhall, Kent, and Palisades neighborhoods.

Because the featured homes are diverse and located throughout the Palisades, Kent, Foxhall, and Berkley neighborhoods, we recommend using a car or bicycle to travel between them. We’ve made efforts to minimize the number of steps at each location, and step counts will be clearly indicated in the guidebook.

To maintain the element of surprise, the featured homes are kept confidential until the day of the tour. Starting at 10:30 AM on October 17, you can pick up your tickets and guidebook, which includes a map and details about each home, at the Palisades Hub (5200 Cathedral Ave NW).
